Traditions of our foundry date back to the year 1926 when Ludwik Sowinski and his son, Marian Sowinski established a family company called "Zakład Kotlarsko-Mechaniczny, Wodociagowy i Fabryka Armatur" [Coppersmith-Mechanical, Waterworks and Fittings Factory] where boilers and large iron-cast valves were produced. The landmark year was 1990, and then the legal heirs became the owners of the foundry and registered it under the name Zakład Wyrobów Metalowych - Odlewnia Metali "Sowinex" [Metal Goods Production Plant and Foundry “Sowinex”].
In 1991 the production of aluminium, bronze and brass castings was restored and since then has been continued with the use of the existing workforce, experience, tradition in castings production, modern technical solutions and modern management methods.
In order to meet Our Clients’ expectations we have improved the castings production technology and introduced modern machines and equipment allowing to manufacture castings which are of better quality in terms of structure and surface.
Combining the latest technological achievements within the scope of the improvement of production quality, the improvement of labour effectiveness and the conformity with the highest requirements as regards the natural environment protection allows the Foundry “Sowinex” to produce castings with improved properties.
Our traditions and many years of experience are the guarantee of top quality of castings we manufacture.
The business activity of our foundry includes castings made from aluminium and copper alloys (brass and bronze) by the method of sand moulding and die-casting pursuant to valid PN, EN, DIN standards.

We are the foundry with the profile including single piece production, small-series and medium-series production offering a varied range
of products as regards shape and mould characterized with high durability, aesthetics and invariability of technical parameters within
the entire production process. Within the framework of the large-series production we manufacture die-castings.
The raw materials we use include high quality aluminium and copper alloys (bronzes, brasses) supplied by leading
and renown producers of this sector. We also offer technical consultancy as regards the selection of materials that a casting is to be manufactured from.
Castings can be delivered in their rough, cleaned or processed form as requested by Clients.
